Beth-El Community Mikvah

Welcome to the website of the Beth-El Community Mikvah.
We are happy to announce the opening of our beautiful new Mikvah.  The immersion Mikvah will begin its operation by being available for Friday night and YomTov use by advance online reservation only.  In special circumstances our Mikvah is willing to accommodate a woman on a regular weekday night. To request this type of appointment email mikvah@bethelnewton.org

In addition, we are pleased to provide a Kaylim Mikvah, which will be open at the hours listed below.

Support for the Mikvah: Now that the construction of the immersion and Kaylim Mikvahs has been completed, we must ensure that they are properly maintained. This involves the ongoing use of utilities for lighting, heating and air conditioning, hot water, water filtering, and running of the washing machine and dryer. In addition, to ensure proper cleanliness and hygiene, the chemical balance of the Mikvah water has to be professionally maintained and the entire Mikvah suite must be professionally cleaned on a regular basis.
Because the number of immersions will be limited (since the Mikvah will be open only for Friday night and YomTov use), user fees will not be adequate to cover costs. We have, therefore, structured Mikvah membership categories to encourage community members to become supporters of the Mikvah and help us to cover the costs of maintaining it.
